Pupcakes!

"Pupcakes"
4.5"w x 5.5"h Watercolour on board

I have been busy with some commission work and a special project (more news coming soon!)

I managed to squeak in with a painting for the Different Strokes for Different Folks challenge. While I finished it tonight, I was late in sending it off to Karin for posting...so you might see it there or you might not. It depends on how busy Karin is to deal with us tardy artist ;-)

Anyway, this is a cute little painting that I am sure all of you dog lovers out there can identify with...

And a little thank you to my husband, who cleverly came up with the title!

This is absolutely wonderful, Kim!

Great title and painting! Morph your dogs into Boxers and you have my two pitiful pooches that NEVER ever are fed - anything that's good! At any rate, that's their story. :-)

Kim,
Just went to DSFDF to see if my entry was accepted late. Yours is astounding! Great work, congratulations!
The bad part is that it's next to mine.
Keep it up!

How adorable! Who could refuse those puppy dog eyes. I love the way The cupcakes match the dog colors and the frosting dipped tails and of course the biscuit on top.

Hi, Kim - Found you on the DSDF challenge site and I just had to see more of your work. How lovely! Your painting is just luscious. And the pupcakes treatment, wow - inventive and fun and beautifully painted. The second afterwards, those cakes were gone and those dogs guilty... Beautiful.
